VAC Ban on Steam says permanent, but VACBanned.com says you can be unbanned

I was playing CS:GO today in a casual session and for no reason, recieved a VAC ban. As I have heard of these been the be all and end all I looked around and found that they were 'permanent'. However the website VACBanned.com has an unbanned category, does this mean that I can have my VAC ban removed or not, I'm a little unsure?

Only false positives get removed and there hasn't been a case like this for nearly two years. The site is also not affiliated with Steam in any which way either.

You've been banned because core file modifications of known cheats were detected on your PC in the 5.7 hours you've had the game. Bans are permanent and cannot be lifted.

All VAC bans are permanent - Valve has a zero-tolerance policy for cheating and will not lift VAC bans under any circumstances.

Valve want to create and maintain good communities for all their games and the games on steam.So unfortanately for you dude that ban will be permanent if you cheated.
