An issue with your computer is blocking the VAC system. You cannot play on secure servers.
now i have a competitive cooldown because of this from 30 mins, til 3 hrs then 1 day. I have tried to do all the steps given. I keep restarting my pc. However, it didnt work still. It keeps coming back.

Anyone knows how to fix this? because if i have a competitive cooldwon again, it will be 1 week !!! PLEASE FIX THIS :(

I've finally found the solution to fix things on my side, though I'm not very happy with it.
I'm running Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.4013.4013.
When I disable this I'm not getting the VAC-error.

Obviously this is ridiculous, I need to unsecure my own PC so I can play on secure VAC servers...
Since you're both big companies, please figure things out to let both ends of the game run secure...

FINALLY MINE IS FIXED.

Last night i tried to uninstall my CS:GO. It took awhile, however it was worth it. No more VAC System Blocked or smthn like it. You probably need to try uninstall your CS:GO.

Hope it works for you guys so we can play together :)

copy/paste from another thread.
i hope the info can help you figure out the solution.

add these processes to your windows firewall.
make sure they are allowed todo whatever they do.

next make sure steamservice.exe is running always..

make sure all steamprograms have firewall clearance.
make sure steamservice.exe is running.

hope this helps.

Symantec Endpoint Protection is of no use to you with regards to using Steam and playing videogames - You only nered to disable it whilre playing games and save your internet browsing on secured and sensitive data sites for when you are NOT engaged in multiplayer games.

This is what I mean when I say that for some reason people do not seem to understand or simply lie when asked to provide ALL of their running services and processes...
please list ALL running processes and services.
That's ALL running processes and services.
All of them
every one.
I mean it.
Otherwise, I cannot help you to fix the issue.

If you are REALLY telling the truth, then obviously the game wont work because no network process are loaded, neither is SteamWebhelper.exe, Steamservice.exe, nor do any system services seem to be running or kernel processes - i.e. your computer is dead. I think you are not giving a full list of the processes and services so as mentioned, I cannot help you if you wont cooperate. Good luck solving it alone.

just wow. perhaps you could have told him how before you jumped up and down.

I wish there was an easier solution to this problem, as it seem to be happening randomly to me, I follow all the suggested steps but I still get kicked occasionally for no reason. Repairing steamservice.exe also does nothing for me.

Not sure I understand, you think I should reply to their post telling them HOW to post?

How to get you the information you so demanded...

Is user helping user forum. Either they want the help or they don't.

Can't see their computer from here even if we squint... we have no idea what you are running on a PC. Could be all sortsa of things that interfere. Understand most people are barely computer literate but c'mon - you want some magic one size fits all answer?

I might have missed it.. but you requested to have *all* the running processes.. but you did not proceed to give information as to how to get the infromation you required.. even though you KNEW he did not do it right ??

I found your post to him very condenscending.

Who are you replying to? This is my first post in this thread.

If you scroll down there are pages and pages of "VAC is broken and blocking my computer in a cooldown - this is so unfair and VAC should fix it!!!.... with no additional information.

Again, if they don't want the help, don't ask for it. If you don't want to provide any information that could actually fix a problem don't provide any - but don't expect a fix either.
