I'm running Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.4013.4013.
When I disable this I'm not getting the VAC-error.
Obviously this is ridiculous, I need to unsecure my own PC so I can play on secure VAC servers...
Since you're both big companies, please figure things out to let both ends of the game run secure...
currently testing this possible fix mentioned @ reddit.

(ofc i have tried the basics.. with no success)
Last night i tried to uninstall my CS:GO. It took awhile, however it was worth it. No more VAC System Blocked or smthn like it. You probably need to try uninstall your CS:GO.
Hope it works for you guys so we can play together :)
i hope the info can help you figure out the solution.
add these processes to your windows firewall.
make sure they are allowed todo whatever they do.

make sure all steamprograms have firewall clearance.
make sure steamservice.exe is running.
hope this helps.
later.
just wow. perhaps you could have told him how before you jumped up and down.
How to get you the information you so demanded...
Is user helping user forum. Either they want the help or they don't.
Can't see their computer from here even if we squint... we have no idea what you are running on a PC. Could be all sortsa of things that interfere. Understand most people are barely computer literate but c'mon - you want some magic one size fits all answer?
I might have missed it.. but you requested to have *all* the running processes.. but you did not proceed to give information as to how to get the infromation you required.. even though you KNEW he did not do it right ??
I found your post to him very condenscending.
Who are you replying to? This is my first post in this thread.
If you scroll down there are pages and pages of "VAC is broken and blocking my computer in a cooldown - this is so unfair and VAC should fix it!!!.... with no additional information.
Again, if they don't want the help, don't ask for it. If you don't want to provide any information that could actually fix a problem don't provide any - but don't expect a fix either.
Understood.. I must have misunderstood :) <facepalm>
carry on :)
Sorry about that.
