can you get vac banned for this?

OK i made a post about me getting vac banned by using region changer so i don't half to play with Russians ect but i want to know if that was the case can some one confirm this can get people vac banned or i cant the tool i used was http://csgo.gamebanana.com/tools/5684

No one here can tell you for 100% certainty what 3rd party tools will/will not get you banned. You download, install, and use these programs at your own discretion.

No that tool won't get you vac banned, and besides you can run it when cs go is not running anyways. It only edits your windows firewall blocklist. Make sure you only get it from gamebanana though, other websites have viruses in it.

The pure fact that it's called "[Official]" while it is not rings my alarm bells.

I use it to block the brazil server.... 6 months, not banned... But anyways, you can run the program with cs go closed, so no, you won't get vac banned. If your paranoid then close cs go before using it.

But as mentioned already, if you know the IP's from the Matchmaking Servers, you can add them manually into the "hosts" File located in "Windows\System32\drivers\etc"/in your Firewall instead of using a Tool to block them.

That mod tool should be 99.9% safe to use as long you download it from that site
over 70000 people has already downloaded it
(so if this gives you vac ban many would had complained by now)

There are not fake mod's or any virusses on gamebanana (they get deleted before you realize)
if something on GB can give you a ban then it will be noted with big red text

Then they can just as well scrap the "[Official]" string. It is still misleading.
