What window do you say? GB is not suppossed to inyect anything anywhere, at least on the 3.5 beta, which is what I use. GB is suppossed to close background processes, services, etc. not needed for the game.
But as Rogue said, this kind of software is usually a placebo effect. It will defrag your HDD and perhaps stop certain processes but the performance gain will be negligible. It'll probably only be noticable if you're cluttered to hell with pointless applications and files, while also having CPU/GPU intensive applications running at the same time. Which is common sense not to do anyway.
All I'm saying is, it gives the feeling it's injecting, because when you start the boost for a certain game, it's closes itself giving you the impression it injects itself.
I have a Radeon R9 290X x2 with CrossfireX 18GB DDR3 1800MHz RAM and a AMD 8350FX 8-core clocked at 4GHz so hardware isn't the issue more if the program is indeed safe to use and worth it considering I can't stop some useless as hell Windows processes that force themselves on again if you close them eventhough you don't need it.
The placebo effect is not a 'boost'
Those programs do nothing to boost your FPS. A lot of programs in fact are detrimental to your sysetm as they do dumb things like changing the MTU settings on your network card which will kill your network performance.
So basically using Razer GB screws up my LAN causing lagspikes?
It depends on what each program does. A lot of them do idiotic things like that. Razer GB may or may not.
Realistically Razer GB won't get you VAC banned
But it's not really doing anything useful either though. Its safe to use but it's just not doing what you 'think' its doing.
The only thing that's actually useful in the suite is their save game manager thing
