Will this mod get me vac banned?
(I know MW3 has this feature but for some reason, I like MW2 engine more than MW3 engine)
I heard stories like even MODDING the game will get you banned and that MW2 is the most sensitive game when it comes to vac ban.

Oh hell no, in that case Im not going to even think about buying MW2.

Just by unlocking the console can trigger a vac ban..
CoD games does not allow any mod by default.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, I was going to buy MW2 but the VAC has been putting me off.
Now, I know people be like "HACKEH!" but if I'll get banned for unlocking the console than I'm not even going to think about buying the game.
The only VAC game I have is Half Life 2 and Portal 1 (Orange Box 75% off, thx Valve) and even there, I'm thinking twice before installing Black Mesa Source or any other mods.

The Call of Duty series as a whole (at least the ones VAC-enabled) disallows any sort of modifications whatsoever. You're fine on GoldSource and Source games like HL2 (which is singleplayer anyways, you can't get VAC banned at all), Valve embraces the modding community.

The only way to mod MW2 is to modify the game files

This WILL RESULT IN A VAC BAN

Not to mention the mod looks pretty janky and you'd have a lot more fun in BO/BO2 zombie mode or somthing. Why buy MW2 and hack it to get a really janky version of zombies, when you can just get an existing game, and get a much better game.

The Console version are a bit different compared to the Computer version, Console version has a offline mode while Computer version hasn't at least on Modern Warfare 2 and upcoming Call of Duty games on the Computer.

If you trying to mod or use a cheat or hack in Singleplayer, it will also probably trigger a VAC ban as you are still not allowed to mod, use a cheat or hack in this game it doesn't matter if it was in Singleplayer or Spec Ops mode.

Once you received a VAC ban for Modern Warfare 2, you can't play Spec Ops or Multiplayer online anymore.
