Are you stealing other peoples mobs and skinning them?
Keep laughing.
Actually is, if you are sitting in one area on an alt account and just tabbing to it whenever people enter cave and kill the 10+ wolves and stealing peoples kills by skinning them. It falls under harassment and cheating, and is against TOS. People do this with thick hide at a couple of specific caves.
I am guessing you haven't read the TOS. I did because this guy kept doing it to me. He would then message me on his main account and laugh at me. I reported it, his cute little thick hide thief level 60 was banned. It took them awhile (about 10 days) but he was banned when we got multiple people involved to report it.
I got banned for 14 days for saying "moron" and naming a bot by the way. I know many people who got banned for the silliest things. On Steam and in game.
Now I don't care cause I have quit the game. I bet a lot of people having horrid experiences.
When I played WoW, people griefing would be swiftly dealt with. I have opened a ticket from a guy griefing my low level character. The GM replied after 5-10 minutes, went on his character and literally killed the guy griefing me. Never saw that guy there again. Even seen GM's in WoW own griefers live on streams. Not sure if they are allowed to do that, but you can tell some GMS at Blizzard care.
AGS is just slow to respond but eventually flag a tonne of people and do ban waves.
And that they usally "flag" suspicious players and then other monitoring systems will gather more intel before the system reacts.
Pretty sure, there are still false positives and its a shame, that banned players dont get more informations and some contact to a human...
But we all know, that most of the "innocent" players here did use some kind of thirdparty tool... It might be a shock to get banned, some might just have "tried out" a bot, since a friend was using it for a few months or something like that...
