IP permabans = Ban cheater now, *30 seconds later* ,Cheater back playing on new IP and an innocent is now banned.
Good idea, yah?
Hardware bans? Buy another cheap pos laptop off ebay or something, and your back cheating again. Or if your savvy, spoof it and keep using the same machine......
Again, easy to work around for those already circumventing the anticheats and cheating in games within days of launch.
Dev's can only play catch up, otherwise it becomes a legal minefield of them asking for scans of your personal documents and PC ever ytime you want to play a game, or you have to sign up with your personal ID (which again, is a legal minefield about who can access this data etc...)
It's NOT as easy to stop cheaters as you make it out to be.......
Or people could just stop being addicted to that dopamine rush and play single player games.
Are you familiar with the term "Infinity"?
It's a futile effort.
Not even the Grand Canyon is big enough for that task. :P
Yep.
Can't fight human nature.
You can try, but it's futile.
Your viewpoint is wrong, anyway....
It's a human nature problem, not a cheating problem.
