How do you check if you are VAC ban or not?

Steam (Top left of screen) Settings-> VAC status. If it says in good standing, youre fine. Btw you don't have a vac ban.

You can also check your profile, as VAC bans are clearly shown there.

If your banned, you will have red letters on your profile stating VAC and how many bans / days after the last ban

Just look at your profile, if you're vac banned, there will be text near where your badges are normally displayed.
