So I got VAC banned in CSGO

I got a vac ban like 4 years ago due to downloading an fps booster that its sole purpose was to boost my fps and nothing more but somehow I got banned while blatant cheaters with spinbots are never caught. Is it possible for my ban to be removed?

A VAC ban as old as yours has been rechecked several times and each time found to be legitimate.
