VAC BANE DOTA 2

Hello! My account was hacked 300-310 days ago, and I could not log in to it, upon recovery I found that my vac lock was received on January 22, 2024 (294 days) I would like to get this account unblocked, since I protected it in all ways, and I will no longer allow a fraudster to have an account! Please, please!

That ban is correct or it would've been automatically removed a LONG time ago, it will never be removed.


VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support....and also cannot be removed by anyone on this forum.

VAC bans are delayed from the time of the detection to the time that the ban is actually applied. What you were doing when the ban was applied, is irrelevant.

Why the account was banned:

all VAC bans come from the detection of a known cheat, whether it is used on the account itself or some sort of sharing has occurred (account, library, or phone number).

Users are responsible for the security of the account and all activity on the account.

But it was stolen, and what was the point of me playing with third-party programs if I spent money on Dota 2 and was happy.

I was not using my account when it was VAC banned. Can the ban be removed?
No. Any bans added to an account will remain regardless of who was using the account at the time the infraction occurred. Ultimately, the use and security of your Steam account are your responsibility.

While we understand this can be frustrating, we must maintain a zero tolerance policy for cheating to foster a fair game that all players will enjoy.

Your account was compromised because you logged into a skin site and got phished. Your details were stolen because you were careless. Your ban will be with you for the rest of your life.
