Using external tools attached to Dota 2

in http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Ban it says using cosmetic modding is allowed but it can still cause a false vac ban. i was false banned by vac. i never used a hack in dota 2 all i wanted was to see how the arcana look like in my dota 2 and still got banned can someone please get me unbanned or get a proof that i hacked ?

i also used the support ticket system but the admin wasn't very helpfull

This applays only to tools, not cheats. Your ban wont be lifted and information wont be provided.

you have 2 separate VAC bans, i guess you just wanted to see what cheating was like for a few times as well?

no the first time was tf2 and it was true i did i even used [REMOVED] but dota 2 i didn't do crap in it lol

your story makes no sense, there is NO reason you would need to download anything outside of steam to do this, there are dozens of these in the workshop and the fact that you got it from who knows where on the internet leaves a significant possiblity that what you downloaded was malware and triggered the ban

a picture of the program you supposedly used doesn't tell me if that IS what you used or that it doesn't have hidden malware

and again, why would you download it in the first place?

there aren't "admins" here

and valve already has all the proof they need, as per the SSA you aren't entitled to know exactly why you were banned

but i can tell you it was cheats/hacks/modifications to core game files

Giving links to cheats will get you forum banned. And we cant change a thing.
