Can Having Minecraft open trigger a VAC Ban?

So I had went to play Team Fortress 2, and someone had left Minecraft running on my computer. I was just wondering because the file was running along with Minecraft, if it could possibly cause a VAC ban. I would doubt it considering VAC scans game files, and Minecraft was not running in my TF2 gamefiles, but I just want to be sure, as I worry about everything, unfortunately. Thanks.

Minecraft is not a cheat in any way, shape, or form.

So it can't possibly get you VAC banned.

What you should worry about; however, is someone who isn't you had access to your device.

I was supervising, they didn't do anything harmful to anything in Steam or, other things.

The idea that Minecraft could get you VAC banned is ridiculous and preposterous. You don't get banned for having multiple games open. How did you manage to think of that as a possibility?

Rule of thumb: If it's not a cheat, it won't get you banned.

I understand that, and yes, I agree it is ridiculous, but I am one to worry about everything. Thanks for the tip, although I sort of had a pre-concieved notion that it was true. But again, thanks for the responce.

Watch out though, there's a guy who got banned for using cheats in other games. Guy used a clicker 'cheat' for clicker heroes and played cs:go while it was open and got VAC-banned, so watch out with minecraft-cheats for example
