gonna make this fast literally spent last 2 days no sleep battling with a hacker changing my password then i would change it etc... for now looks like i won but i had to do so much to make sure i was safe including buying a new router and i still have more to do.... first of all i have literally never used a API key AND I HAVE NEVER TRADED ANYTHING!. i have 2 step verification on everything email and steam guard.the only way i believed this could happened is one of three ways i got phished by a fake page logging into either refrag.gg leetify.com 2 very legit prac sites and one sus site that works with leetify so mistakenly i trusted it this site is allstar.gg and i actually made my account thru a link from leetify.com... literally the only thing that saved me is because when this idiot contacted me through my friends list literally first mess i knew he was trying to scam me. the only thing he managed to do was delete my friends list that i gotta add 1 by 1 now over 300. AND STEAM WILL NOT HELP YOU YOUR ON YOUR OWN PERIOD! I FOUND WHO THIS PERSON WAS AND THE CHAT WE HAD AND SENT ALL INFO TO STEAM . THIS IS BASICALLY A DIRECT QUOTE COPY PASTE...

Steps to take NOW:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a trusted/clean computer.
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)


Please review how you are logging into Steam, you somehow gave away your log-in information. This could of been due to the computer being compromised and redirecting to a fake log-in, or you using a third party site to log in to Steam.

Once you are sure you have regained control, you can start trading again. Please triple check any trades you make to be sure they are going to the correct account.

After you have secured the account, please edit your profile back to normal, if it was altered by the hijacker/scammer.
