Does the vac ban expire time ?

Dear,
Does the vac ban expire time ? Cuz i don't wanna start new account. This one is mine first account on steam when i bougth cs with my pocked money. And i've all my games on it and willing to buy soon some other games also but just for one game an new one ? I don't want it.
And vacban i got it when my account was hackked and didn't use for many years. So i didn't know that i was hacked or not. Cuz i didn't use my email and even my phone number als cuz of stalking. Was move from my parents house and my pc everything left home for some of time my little brother used it. If there is a time for i would like to wait and spare my account. Thanks in advance.

VAC bans are permanent. They will never expire and last beyond your human lifetime.

After 7 years, and if no other ban is applied, they won't be displayed on your profile page publicly (except for you and Steam moderators), but there are other ways to see whether you are VAC banned.

In accordance with Section 1 C of the Steam Subscriber Agreement, you are responsible for all actions on your account, no matter who used the account.

It doesn’t seem like a very valuable or rare account. Starting fresh with a new account shouldn’t be too hard.
