Family Sharing from a VAC banned account
I have a VAC banned account with a few old games that I would like to play on it, if I was to family share the games onto this account would the ban be transferred?
Also if i played the game I got vac banned on, just not through family share, would the vac ban still be transferred?

If the account you want to use its library from has a VAC ban on record, some or all of its games cannot be used via Family Library Sharing. The way how it is handled is different from game to game. Usually, if the account is VAC banned from a paid game, that game cannot be shared.

VAC bans do not carry over retroactively.

So if I was vac banned previously on CSGO, then if i family shared any game except CSGO, the ban would not be passed over? Also, if i enable family sharing but end up playing CSGO on the new account would the ban then be passed over? Thanks

No, the VAC ban will not carry over because it is for a past infraction.
Because CSGO is a free-to-play game, it cannot be family shared.

Sorry, just triple checking, even if the accounts have the same phone number, if i family share rocket league and nothing else, and play cs, which is owned on this account, I will not get the ban added to this account too.

As i said, any form of VAC ban, from any source, is not applied retroactively.

The ban will not transfer to different accounts once it has already been given out. You can add your number to a brand new account and it will not be banned. Not unless cheats are used again.

You will be unable to share any VAC protected games.

Since you try to share games with a VAC banned account that ALL VAC enabled games cannot be shared and you will not get a ban in anyway.

VAC is not contagious, it will not transfer bans to after the infraction. Unless some games use different anti-cheat system which can issue game bans.
