Load Dota get "unable to verify".
Recently when i have been loading Dota I randomly get a warning/pop up saying
"Valve Anti-Cheat was unable to verify that your machine is secure"

https://imgur.com/a/kN2Z7Q3

I have gone down the usual protocols of re-installing Dota/Steam and even Windows yet still get this randomly popping up.

Have no dodgy software installed, just the standard Steam, Discord, Battlenet and Chrome :D

Any info on this would be great as it is beginning to get mightily frustrating .

Unfortunately its between your keyboard and the isp. there can be dozens of things that cause this, you'll have to try to troubleshoot it.

best place to start is from the last time you were able to play your VAC secured game, and try to note what changed between then and now.
Reboot your router, disable any programs like ccleaner which can cause vac error and try again.

I have re-installed windows on a fresh nvme.
After installing Steam I then installed Nvidia drivers then Dota 2.

I loaded the game and was met with the "Valve Anti-Cheat was unable to verify that your machine is secure" message.

The game will work and let me search for matches randomly.

Don't know if any of that info is useful

Try again after restarting your router and disabling any apps like Ccleaner that might be causing the vac problem.

I have already stated that I have nothing else installed on this fresh install other than steam and my graphics driver.

Can you roll back your graphics driver?

I have tried using drivers from 551.52 up until the current version of 556.12 and nothing makes a difference unfortunately.
This issue has only begun to happen from 30/6.

To say I'm at a loss is selling it short :D

I haven't no, but would that really make any difference? Isn't safemode effectively offline?

Run Steam as admin, turn off cloud saves and then verify game files.
