Or it was my brother that cheated on my account.
Thats a really really dumb stance on cheating. For starters alot ppl ( you defitnitly included ) have shown not to be able to see the diffrence between a good player and a cheater so yeah .
Toggle on when you get killed you mean.
Even if when ppl would toggle only against cheaters its wrong on so many levels. The other ppl in the server not cheating suddenly not 1 but more cheaters oh what a joy.
Your benifiting the cheat community.
Two wrongs never made a rigth.
And your cheating.
Awesome!
Guess I'll check some of the active spin botters I bookmarked nearly half a year ago to see if they finally get hammered
F.A.Q's can be found here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/647c-5cc1-7ea9-3c29
"Valve Anti-Cheat regularly checks the game files of all users connected to Valve's servers to ensure third party software is not being used which gives players an advantage."
Anything that modifies protected game files, or directly game aspects like memory and others, are considered bannable offenses.
No. VAC bans cannot be appealed. If a VAC ban is issued incorrectly it will be automatically removed after investigation, but Steam Support does not manually remove VAC bans applied to accounts for any reason.
All false bans get removed after getting reviewed by steam, if your ban isn't removed from your account, it means your account was found using bannable software / modifications to the game, and therefore wont be removed
No. We do not disclose the cheats that were detected while connected to a VAC-secured server that resulted in a VAC ban. We have detailed records for each VAC ban, however, releasing this information would only benefit cheat developers. The VAC team regularly investigates claims of false VAC bans to increase the effectiveness of Valve Anti-Cheat.
In order to keep cheaters and cheat developer "in the blind" steam will never reveal what caused ur account to be banned, steam support wont tell you what caused the ban either.
This is more of a general known structure with anti-cheat bans, like stated on the F.A.Q's in order to make sure cheat develoers and players remain in the dark about how the anti-cheat works, these details are not revealed.
To add more to that concept the bans are not given on the exact time the detection happened, the bans are going to be given out, after some delay, this ensures you can't easly "find" what exactly caused ur ban in the first place.
No, like stated in the F.A.Q's VAC bans are permanant, and non negotionable.
Steam support doesnt have the ability to do anything related to VAC bans, they will forward your query to the VAC F.A.Q's.
Its a forum created to allow players to share/discuss their opinion on the VAC anti-cheat, it has never been a unban appeal forum, and will never be.
