Razer Synaps and VAC
Will Razer Synaps make VAC freak? I got a weird message on CS saying I had a program interfering with VAC, but the only programs open besides steam was Nvidia and Synapse. I haven't had this issue before, but I have been noticing CS bug out a lot lately. Things like switching tabs or screens, at random. I thought it was my keyboard, since it's about 5 years old but.....
Idk, steam says i have no VAC bans and my account is still in good standing, but after a reinstall and everything it wont connect to a game. I closed both apps but still not able to reconnect.

Is there anything about this elsewhere? I'm still looking but just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

It shouldn't. Usually VAC errors are due to corrupted files

I ran verify and nothing was missing... I don't want to get VAC'd over an error or because I want my keyboard to look pretty. DX 16 year old account, never had anything like this happen kinda scary

Razer software does not cause VAC bans. Even if it would, it would be identified as a mistake and reversed.

Remember the AMD Anti-Lag+ incident? That's exactly what i mean.

I mean, when they have in big letters "WE WONT REVERSE YOUR VAC BAN, NO MATTER WHAT, DON'T ASK" It's kind of a scary issue to have lol

After a full system reboot, fresh reinstall of CS2, and turning off the two programs, I was able to get into a game. I'm still worried about it though, I sent in a ticket to Steam so that- in the event I DO get a VAC ban from something stupid like that I can refer to this issue and have it reversed.

VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support. If a VAC ban is determined to have been issued incorrectly it will automatically be removed.

That is the official statement by Valve.
