VAC Banned for unknown reasons

Hi,

Recently I was vac banned honestly dont know why, i have over 3.6k hours on record and in my last days before i got banned i was only playing faceIT because i kinda had enough with cs2 cheats,

long story short, as i was looking into vac ban details, there is a part that says "if the ban was issued incorrectly it will be automatically removed"

does anyone have any idea how long does it take for an overwatch to review and verify the legitimacy of a vac ban, or this is just 1 in 1000000 times thing?

false ban removal = few days/weeks/months

overwatch and vac are completely different systems and have NOTHING to do with each other

you are responsible for what is on the computer your account uses while connected to a vac server. does not matter why there was a cheat installed on the computer, all that matters is that a cheat was detected. anything that tampers with protected game files is a cheat regardless of it giving an advantage or not (skin changers are cheats)

The account cheated or some sort of sharing has occurred.. If the ban is incorrect, it will be automatically remove after a period of time. Could be days, or weeks.

Overwatch will not review VAC bans. The VAC team does it. There's no documented frequency nor any option to demand or expedite an investigation. As it says, 'automatically'. No inquiry needed nor any inquiry accepted.

Appealing is futile:

VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support.

Please be aware that this forum only has mere users just as me and you who have no powers to investigate nor remove any ban.

Just for future reference and for anyone thinking of making appeal posts here, you really shouldn't, not only will they not accept them, but you also open yourself up to harassment. I've seen literal bigotry and sexual harassment in the VAC discussions, this is literally the most toxic forum on all of Steam, there is almost no reason to post here, unless you really need help with VAC issues that aren't related to bans in a game (like when something is interfering with the function of VAC), even then though don't count on this place being much help.
