True I guess. What you can do however is always strive to do the best you can, similar to valorant and faceit, they seem to be doing pretty well, no? Valve has obviously checked out from anything anti cheat related. Cheats have been undetected for decades now. Cheaters have steam groups with 10k+ members on STEAM. How does that in anyway tell/show you that they are doing anything about cheating?
You can't get rid of [insert any IRL unlawful act such a murder, theft, fraud] right? So why would the police do anything to catch a murderer, thief, or fraudster? Oh, that's right, because it keeps the community safe!
You would think that logic would also be applied to the counter strike community, but it is obvious that valve does not care about the game, and only wants people to gamble in their casino.
This has nothing to do with cases...
Still based on the sheer amount of Steam User Reviews found claiming to many hacks and cheaters for DOTA 2 and CS2. I'll never play those games.
Like there are people that make and use cheats and hacks that just continuously reopen new Steam accounts and continue to do so. Guy on YouTube @Sparkles interviewed cheat / hack dev. really insightful. Valve has a long time problem that will never be stopped.
Yep! Thanks Valve!
Your saying Valve is the one responsible for not getting rid off cheaters in all games ?
Because thats what he ( must have ) ment , you cannot get rid off cheaters in multiplayers games.
Unless you think your able to change human behaviour.
Only in all "their games" but it's been what 20 years, human behavior and no one responsible for not getting rid of cheaters permanently. They gladly take that new money for re-opened accounts. And people will keep giving it to them. Cheaters, makers or otherwise.
If one is willing to spend more money to open an alt account to cheat again, that seems like their own issue they have to sort out (human behavior), they will simply continue to have the accounts banned and purchase the games again. Meanwhile anti-cheat developers will continue to improve and keep legit players on board while thinning out the cheaters.
So care to point out the game company that did manage to make their game 100% cheater free ?
