Just got a VAC ban and never cheated

Hey everyone,
Another person chiming in to have been presumably VAC banned without any cheating. I just got my account of 17 years VAC banned off CS2. I have never installed cheat software or compromised the integrity of my Steam account. Ive owned CSGO since 2012 and have heard that VAC is incorrectly banning people in CS2 since pretty much launch. I dont know if my account was mass reported or if some of the 3rd party MSI software on my PC triggered this but I am really upset as I have never had my account compromised with a VAC ban before. A few days ago there was a Russian hacker who minimized my game while I was playing and was using a variety of cheats. I know that isnt common to see in CS2 but the attack on my system is rare. Ive reset my PC multiple times since then but my game was closing saying "please launch with Steam" and a few other game crashes today. I know nobody is going to care, but I would never cheat(especially now) and my virus/malware scanners didnt pick anything up. Really upset with this broken Anti-cheat.

Banned by Game Developer (Game Ban)
Playing games should be fun. In order to ensure the best possible online multiplayer experience, Valve allows developers to implement their own systems that detect and permanently ban any disruptive players, such as those using cheats.

Game developers inform Valve when a disruptive player has been detected in their game, and Valve applies the game ban to the account. The game developer is solely responsible for the decision to apply a game ban. Valve only enforces the game ban as instructed by the game developer.

For more information about a game ban in a specific game, please contact the developer of that game.

Why was this introduced?
Game bans were originally introduced to give third-party developers the ability to implement their own anti-cheat system to be used in concert with the Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) system. CS:GO also uses game bans in its Overwatch system. Game bans allow developers to utilize Valve’s banning infrastructure rather than implement their own ban tracking system.

More recently, game bans were added to users’ Steam profile pages. This was done for two reasons. The first reason was to help banned users know why they cannot join a protected matchmaking server. Many users were confused when they received an error trying to connect to a matchmaking server and yet did not see any bans on their account. The second reason was to allow other users to see whether accounts they had suspected of cheating were, in fact, banned. It can be frustrating to play a game with a cheater, and it helps to know when such a user is removed from the matchmaking system.

If a developer communicates a ban request to Valve, is the offending player banned from launching that game – or from using Steam entirely? And, for how long?
The effects of the game ban are determined by the developer, and must be consistent with a VAC ban, such as being prevented from playing online with other players and/or trading items for that game. It cannot prevent the user from launching and playing the game offline. It cannot prevent the user from using Steam.

The duration of the game ban is determined by the developer. Only permanent game bans are displayed on the user’s profile. Temporary game bans, or suspensions, are not displayed.

Does this mean developers can take my games away from me?
No. The developer can only impose restrictions consistent with VAC, such as preventing online play and/or prevent the trading of items for that game.

Will Valve review developer requests for banning in any way?
Valve reserves the right to revoke access to the system if the developer abuses it.

I'm going to be unbanned, little brain. That's a certainty, don't be happy. It probably must be a genetic problem, which is passed from parents to children. Your parents must have given you a terrible education... You're so young, you can't even read a text. He is one of those Mindless people who speak without knowledge. This is a genetic problem that passes from parents to children :)0 hahahahaha

Hahahahah it's ok bro, keep lying to yourself all you want, you will NEVER be unbanned.
It's fascinating how people who cheat for long periods of time have the mental capacity of toddlers.
You cheated, you got banned. Move on. Stop crying about it and throwing tantrums like Valve is your daddy who will give up and just unban you to make you happy. ahahahahah
