playing the old version csgo = vac ban?

Hello, will I get a vac ban if I download and open the 2013-2015 version of CSGO?

did valve release an old version of the game? if not, you are doing something that is DO AT OWN RISK. a vac ban is probably the most minor thing you should be worrying about.

I installed it, but I deleted it, both what you said and the possibility of it being a virus..

Why would you use a version from 2013-2015? What is the point?

Usually you COULD download older versions of anything using SteamCMD, i don't know if that is still the case, haven't used it in a long while.

Testing cheats doesn't make much sense, since CS2 gets updates almost daily and trying to play a old CS:GO version doesn't make much sense at this point in time.

You can literally go into the properties menu and choose a beta branch to play the CS:GO Legacy version without all this nonsense.

What's the point in doing that? CS:GO is retired, some people have the weirdest way of acting and thinking.

Steam servers do not host viruses, all uploads undergo further checking, you know.

Uploading a troll game that deletes your whole hard drive / SSD after starting it will probably never make it into being sold on Steam.

you are some special case aren't you, anyone can download older csgo versions using the steam console, and what are you pirating, exactly? As of December 2018, csgo became free to play
