VAC BAN for no reason?

logged on today to find my account had been VAC banned, have never used any cheats or software. What is going on Valve?

Same here. Looking at the forums it seems to be a huge wave of people getting randomly banned. Played the game since it first launched as CSGO and never cheated. Can only hope Valve announce they've made some major F up.

Yeah, it's got to be. Looking around online people seem to be reporting that there's been a huge false positive ban wave and nobody's really sure what's caused it.
Hopefully Valve will revert this since it seems a huge percentage of the playerbase just got wrongly VAC banned. I'd honestly be surprised if they bothered to say anything or owned up to their failure though.

é sacanagem! fui banido hoje do nada sem nunca ter usado nenhum tipo de trapaça.. E agora valve? Eu já não aguentava mais cair com trapaceiros.. depois de denunciar várias contas e se sentir injustiçado pelo anticheat ser péssimo, agora quem toma ban sou eu? decepcionado ! nunca mais quero comprar nada na steam!

Yes i got banned today, my steam account is 20 years old almost, never had any bans.
GG cs2 and valve i did write them, but it said Overwatch banned me ingame and not vac banned me.

Such a confusing mess is cs2 lol

I don't think it's a driver thing as people with AMD cards are also reporting being caught in this ban wave.

Woke up with a vac ban and have a elo under 8k. MAKE IT MAKE SINCE CS2..... something is wrong here i can only think of 3rd part skin websites. but even so thats been a thing for years and has no cheats what so ever.

No idea if this is true or not, but I'm hearing that Valve has replaced the overwatch system with an AI to do cheat detection. Seems like it was just shoved into the game with little to no testing if true. Again, take that with a grain of salt because I'm only getting that from random twitter and reddit posts.
