=============================[ SPANISH ]=================================

08/11/2019

Atentamente,

[Eliseven]

Dear Steam Support Team,

I am writing to you regarding the 1521 day(s) ago VAC suspension that has been applied to my Steam account in relation to the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). The VAC suspension has left me shocked and frustrated, as I am certain that my account was compromised and used by an unauthorized third party at the time the breaches were detected.

It is worth noting that despite my previous attempts I lost the motivation to keep trying to recover it, until a friend with the same situation managed to have his VAC removed and for that very reason I am now trying again after so many years.

08/11/2019

Situation details:

Unauthorized Access: On a specific date (08/11/2019) 1521 days ago, I noticed that I could not access my account. At first I downplayed it until a friend told me that my user had changed my name, that's when I got scared and changed my password and regained access but with VAC and unable to play CS GO. This was evidenced by configuration changes, game sessions logged into places I had not previously accessed and modifying settings in CS:GO that I had not made.

Compromised Security: Despite taking security measures, including a strong password and enabling two-factor authentication, my account was compromised. I take full responsibility for not having detected this security vulnerability in my account prior to the incident.

No involvement in illegitimate activities: During the period in which the violations leading to the VAC suspension were detected, I was not actively involved in any type of illegitimate activity on CS:GO or in the use of software or modifications that would violate Valve Anti-Cheat rules.

Request for Review: In light of the above, I respectfully request a thorough review of my account and the detected activities that led to the VAC suspension.

I sincerely appreciate your attention and the opportunity to appeal this VAC suspension. I am committed to safeguarding the integrity of my account and following the guidelines set forth by Steam to maintain a fair and safe gaming environment.

I look forward to your prompt response and any additional information you may require to clarify this situation.

Sincerely,

[Eliseven]

I was not using my account when it was VAC banned. Can the ban be removed?
No. Any bans added to an account will remain regardless of who was using the account at the time the infraction occurred. Ultimately, the use and security of your Steam account are your responsibility.

While we understand this can be frustrating, we must maintain a zero tolerance policy for cheating to foster a fair game that all players will enjoy.

VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support or by anyone on the forums.

This is not an appeal forum and you cannot appeal VAC bans.

Nothing you post will change the answer.

Who used your account to cheat is irrelevant.
You are responsible for the security of your account and all actions on it.
Keep in mind that accounts are hijacked, not hacked.

All VAC bans are constantly checked and verified. If the ban is a mistake, it is usually removed within the first few days or weeks after the ban.

Finally, this is a userforum. No one here can investigate or remove a VAC ban.
Not that you can appeal one anyway.

So much text, so little point. A ban that old has been checked and is definitely valid and permanent.
Your VAC ban is for life and all items can never be traded. Your account security is your responsibility.

Thanks for the detailed reply.

It is true that it says:

"VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support or by anyone on the forums."

But it also says something that contradicts the above:

"If it is determined that a VAC block has been applied incorrectly, it will be removed automatically."

My question is, how can I get them to reconsider the VAC? Is there any way to contact someone?
Lufia Jan 10, 2024 @ 6:15am
No, you cannot contact anyone as Vac is an automatic system.

In addition, the cancellation only applies for a certain period of time, which definitely no longer applies to you with over 1500 days.

Your Vac ban is therefore permanent and will not be removed by support.
