Console commands do not cause bans, period. Valve has never stated that in any official article.

I had changed some commands to binds such as kill in TF2 and haven't been banned since 2015. I missed the game because it was fun together with other players.

High DPI has nothing to do with console commands. You can buy a gaming mouse with much DPI and even it does nothing with such commands.
