Getting Banned in MW2 while MW2 has no VAC Support anymore.. hilarious.

I got banned in CoD:MW2 for - i don't even know - possibility is that i tried to get my old profile from another account to work, instead of playing completely from the scratch against LVL10 Prestige with Level 1... thats the only thing i tried, which could end up in a VAC Ban - BUT!

I can still play MW2 online. Thats because MW2 is not supported anymore from VAC - which means this ban is completely useless and only uglifies my profile.

why.. is VAC still sending VACBans for MW2 if they don't even support the game anymore?!

i still see the vac flag on the store of mw2 and since you tried to cheat your progress you got banned

Because the developer not entirely removed VAC from the Game, they modified the Matchmaking so VAC banned Accounts can still play the Game even they got banned in the Game.

So people Like me, who never cheat, quit playing the game. Not a big loss on my end, I was never a big fan of the p2p lobbies anyway.

yeah you actually start losing the few players who are still there.. so there is no point in banning people or not. except for destroying their beauty profile.

For MW2, you will still get a VAC ban on your profile, but since their last update, it allows you to have that and still be able to play. So just because it is off, doesn't mean it won't appear on your profile.

Because IW is moving their resources somewhere else, they aren't really supporting older CoD titles anymore, which is really sad.

You tried to cheat your stats and you got cought (It's really hard to get vac'd using stats hack). You deserved it, it does not matter if game is dead or not.
