CS2, just got VAC ban for nothing

I’ve just been banned while playing Office, my favorite map. I want to make it clear that I’m not a cheater and have never cheated in any game in my life. This is my only Steam account.

I’m wondering if there are any tools or logs available to find out exactly what happened and why I was banned.

If the ban isn't lifted, I’m quitting CS. It might be time to say goodbye to everyone I’ve played with in that office.

VAC bans are delayed. Whatever caused it could be from days or weeks ago.

No, they don't give that information to anyone because cheaters would use it to create better cheats.

VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support. If a VAC ban is determined to have been issued incorrectly, it will automatically be removed.

I’ve put in 33.6 hours over the past two weeks since I returned to this game. I feed odd that my Nova skills led to a ban. I believe I deserve an answer.

As I mentioned, I haven't made any modifications, and I have a butterfly knife in my hand. I have no reason to risk all that.

But I have to say 2 things about this.
A) I can't tell you exactly how long this will take.
B) The number of users that this really affects is extremely small, many don't even notice that another person was on their PC, believe that skin changer, for example, is not a cheat, etc...

Believe me, there have been people here who had an acc that was worth 1000x more and were much higher in rank and still got a vac ban in the end and usually a well-deserved one.

Seen an account get banned with over $130,000 in skins, money means nothing if someone thinks their paid cheats won't get caught.

As long as you don't use cheats, let other people use your PC/Acc and don't commit any acts that endanger the security of the Acc, nothing can happen.

Are you playing on windows 7? I've seen a few reports going around that people using windows 7 have been getting false bans.
