The more common f2p cheats get popped pretty quickly though, some of which get nabbed literally right when they try to connect to a match.

I honestly doubt that since I've seen that countless times in casual, and I look back on their profile and it seems they arent banned

TF2 is not CS:GO.
People can still get away with this stuff with various mechanics like this:

I played this game for 4 years and I've seen all of it
There were a pair I kept running into on 2fort who were silent aimers, obvious cheats to players but not obvious to the system.
They got detected eventually because in a match I was in them with, our entire team basically got together to target them. Legit we had one of them who was full blown spin botting, using anti-stab, ESP, crit hacking, and bhop scripting by the end of the match. It was only then was he detected, and eventually banned 2 weeks later (due to how VAC works)
