VAC Ban and what that means for CS 2

I got VAC banned for B-Hop Scripting on a custom game unknowing that custom games were vac secured. This ban was a long time ago and however I dont think punishing someone for bhop scripting in a custom game with nobody but my self in it is a reasonable punishment. Now I cant play CS 2 On my main account and that's quite annoying. I know my VAC cant be removed but I was really hoping that VACS wont transfer over to CS2. I think other people could be in the same boat as me where they realized that now they cant play CS2 because of a dumb vac ban. Unless you make a alt account. The branding for CS2 is like its a brand new game even though its just a free upgrade to CS. If valve wants to advertise it this way maybe they should remove all VACS.

No. Accounts with VAC or game bans in CS:GO cannot play Counter-Strike 2 on VAC-secured servers.

By who? The players who absolutely have no idea about CS2?

CS2 is not a standalone game, it's just an upgrade to CS:GO. You literally can't play CS2.

I know that I'm not asking for an Appeal or playing the victim card. I'm just saying VALVE IS BRANDING IT AS A NEW GAME SO THEY SHOULD REMOVE ALL VAC BANS FROM THE NEW GAME! how can you not get that through your head. I'm mad about the ban because it is kind of stupid but the fact that I cant play CS 2 makes no sense. They call it CS2 to generate hype but all it is a CSGO with a new name newer engine, some changes to the maps, tic rate and smokes, and branding it like its a new game. However not removing VAC Bans. Maybe you don't understand why this is frustrating because you have never been banned from what I can tell. but if you were banned you would have the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ opinion.

Speaking of getting something through your head...your question was answered before you even made this thread. You cannot play CS2 if you have a VAC or game ban in CS:GO.
