VAC Ban and what that means for CS 2

I got VAC banned for B-Hop Scripting on a custom game unknowing that custom games were vac secured. This ban was a long time ago and however I dont think punishing someone for bhop scripting in a custom game with nobody but my self in it is a reasonable punishment. Now I cant play CS 2 On my main account and that's quite annoying. I know my VAC cant be removed but I was really hoping that VACS wont transfer over to CS2. I think other people could be in the same boat as me where they realized that now they cant play CS2 because of a dumb vac ban. Unless you make a alt account. The branding for CS2 is like its a brand new game even though its just a free upgrade to CS. If valve wants to advertise it this way maybe they should remove all VACS.

stats has been going downhill due to drunk plays and just goofing around with friends. so those should be higher..

But my point is that even if someone has "good" stats or stats sticks it does not mean that someone is cheating..

On other account yes (bhop, macros on MM server and couple times played on hvh servers).

So yeah if his hs would be closer to 70-80% and k/d closer to 4 then yeah that would be screaming that he is cheating..

BUT yeah bhop script/macro is cheating...

VAC doesn't care which account you use. It only cares about what's on the PC being used, since THAT is where the cheats are. Where do you install cheats? On the PC or on the account? On the PC. THAT means that ANY account used on that PC is at risk.

Deleting or uninstalling cheats DOES NOT remove them. You MUST reformat.

So, reformat. Create a new account and STOP messing with cheats.

Vac checks your files md5 like virus scanner comparing to data on to vac database. BUT only while game is running without -untrusted launch command..

Thats why it is smart have that crap like that on usb or external hdd that can be removed before running game or even on phone ..

Some people has thing called life before gaming..
And yes this is my main account.. Theres no force field.. You just dont cheat account that you care..

Theres few types on bhop scripts.. those that reads memory and those that is basically macros that just spams space..

Also forgot to mention that if and when vac detects file on your pc/mac/linux then checks is it running and attached to game memory..

So yeah..

Keep on going rambling that how i am going to get banned.. except it will not happen.. you can check my account even after 10 years and still no ban..

jeez use even little bit of common sense..

account 1 + attaching usb with files -untrusted launch (vac not running so it wont scan)
account 2 - no usb = no files on pc. no untrusted launch (vac running but it cant check non existing files everything cheat related on that usb ((usb DISCONNECTED ))..

and if you have even know about programming and find source code you can check does it leave any temp etc files after shutting it off.
if so then you just dont use that OR add few lines of code that just deleted those temp files etc.

Just an example..

You can go certain forum and find lets say cheat made with python (coding language) you copy paste that your own file. Is that installing? no.. its executable/code file as .py that wont install anything unless you make it install something from somewhere..

everything just dont need installing stuff..

It's because Valve bans the account, not the person. If the person was banned, you couldn't even create a new account.

Which would be a much more effective punishment. Heck, other companies even *attempt* to try IP/hardware bans, when you on countless occasions said its pointless, so its not worth them even trying anything new.

But hey, none of us know why Valve does things the way it does. Since they barely communicate at all outside glossy press releases for new games. Or updates to games.
