Third party patches and mods are ALWAYS use at your own risk.
ANYTHING that alters protected game files WILL cause a VAC ban.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Use caution when installing any game modifications like scripts or custom skins, and only download custom content from trusted sources. Hackers may maliciously disguise their cheats to cause others to get banned.
For more information on how you can protect yourself and your account, please refer to our Account Security Recommendations help article.

Further, you CANNOT modify Activision games AT ALL without it causing a ban. Even the main menus are VAC secured.
they can include or exclude which files they protect at any time, and without warning.
cheaters have used previous 'non player advantage' mod plugins to hook cheats into counter strike, for example (years and years ago now), and without warning, valve ensured that all files that could be used in that way were picked up by vac.
so its at your risk. don't be sad if you get a lifetime ban for it, you were warned here.
