your account has a GAME BAN, game bans are not vac bans and have nothing to do with vac nor this forum.
It could be from Temp to more sever, not directly to perm.
Game BAN or VAC both are permanent same thing.
Well csgo is still infested by hackers even with the perm bans,
if you wish to whine about csgo, you can do that in that games forum. vac bans being made temporary would change nothing for your account since its not vac banned
Its a discussion not whining, Whining is done when hoping to get what you want by nagging. I am not expecting my account to be back. I am just discussing this subject.
About the game ban yes I was caught cheating although i only used it 5 to 6 times but I did it.
This is not how to help yourself with your mental breakdowns. Better seek professional help.
not all people are perfect like you
It is, without cheaters.
Imagine recovering banned users who can't wait to sell their skins and then reuse cheats, as happened in the past and still happens today on multiple garbage accounts.
Main reason for useless unlock requests.
Hashtags don't work here, you're not on twitter or other useless social networks.
Your account is banned, so, what does that make you? And it's cheating, not hacking.
...and you're not discussing anything but your ban.
This forum is for discussion of the VAC system. It is not a place to discuss your ban or a place to try to appeal your ban. VAC bans cannot be appealed, anyway.
Your account isn't even VAC banned. So, total waste of time posting here.
Don't like the punishment? Don't break the rules. You didn't seem to care too much about the punishment when you made that "mistake"
Do you know what zero tolerance means?
You get the same second chance anyone else gets: Creating a new account and not breaking the rules again.
Anyone make you break the rules? Nope...not at all. It was your choice.
Also, pretty shameful to use depression as an excuse.
---------------------------------------------------------
Also, this does not apply to your ban but:
Valve started working on a "long-term solution" for cheating in 2001. VAC's initial release was with Counter-Strike in 2002. During this initial release, the system only banned players for 24 hours. The duration of the ban was increased over time; players were banned for 1 year and 5 years, until VAC2 was released in 2005, when any new bans became permanent.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valve_Anti-Cheat
People kept cheating so, permanent bans.
You can only blame yourself and your other fellow cheaters.
Everything has consequences, some consequences are permanent.
Lost the account? You have it. How do you think you made this thread?
Yup.
Imagine them burning through their chance and cheating again...........
EDIT:
Also funny that people never search before making threads.

"i got perm banned from cego cuz of cheating. screw this game i havent been playing it for 3 months now not planning to get back to it. it was one of my fav games but due to it being full of hackers i decided to use hack and get this acc banned for good. its time to move on. Thank you CSGO for past good memories, its time for you to rest in piece."
So much for "I cheat when I get depressed"
So, basically lying and using depression to try to get the account unbanned, because now you realize that getting the account "banned for good" wasn't a smart move in hindsight.
Game bans are a later thing, working similar as VAC, with the same consequences for rule violations. Overwatch and/or VACNet caught you.
Overwatch bans can also be given for incessant griefing. But since you admitted to cheating, I assume that is indeed the reason why you got it in the first place.
You know what cheaters would do? Cycle accounts. Valve put a stop to that. Increasing the cost with each account used to cheat. That is also why game bans are permanent.
And CSGO has three layers to fight it off: Machine learning, Overwatch and finally, VAC.
Bans are intentionally delayed to make it harder for cheaters and cheat developers to find out how they were caught. Also, by doing this with a delay, there is an intrinsic risk as it makes it impossible to test detection.
Overwatch judgements are inherently delayed as it takes 100 or more investigators to watch 8 rounds of the gameplay, and they have to reach a 100% unanimous conviction. If one of them said "insufficient evidence", a ban wouldn't be issued.
Nobody is. Everyone has their strength and weaknesses.
Appealing is futile. If you cannot cope with the red text, create a new account and move on. That is the only option.
That doesn't work. That never works. Noone reds this and goes "gosh, maybe I am being to harsch? Expecting perfection and all, hm". That doesn't happen. Becasue of course it doesn't.
Expecting people not to cheat is not expecting perfection, it is expecting that other players adhere to the most simple and basic of rules insted of just crapping on everbody else.
Not cheating is the most simple thing in the world. I never did it and it was effortless.
