Show VAC-ban in friendlist
Steam should show vac and game bans in friends and follow list, not just on profile.

I follow quite a few sketchy people and I have to visit their profiles individually to check their vac status.

They should be having to wear the shame in easy access.

The fact that you choose to follow “sketchy people” doesn’t put you in a better light

What do you mean? I follow people i meet in CSGO matchmaking doing sketchy stuff and I've been right many times. It takes some months sometimes but still.

What if ban come after? Having VAC'ed friends also affect you. Sometimes literary. More or less depend on which game/service incl Valve.

You can do that using steamrep and looking at your own profile.
It will show your VAC banned friends

But can I see my followed players also there? I still would like it to be inside steam by default

Steamrep is overwhelmed... And stupidity Adkins a bit. Require steam login. And still it sometimes require visit each profile to update them in steamrep Db. Frindlist not always load latest info from Steam servers.

No, only your friendlist

But it's something at least.

Imagine being this obsessed about VAC bans

Be more tolerate to Game bans. All - every one - non-Valve online game known for false bans. Moreover non-Valve VAC is also not the same case as Valve games. Not all false removed. You are not safe at all in some online-broken games (oldest CoD MW2).
Unfortunately we can't see which one game banned. That's another suggestion asked many times, it always be implemented but no direct link to it on profile for other ppl.

There is Dots smurf acc bans. It is not the same as cheating. And it is not 100%. Cannot be as a thing.

Also, few days bans (any) still have a chance for false and been removed. Do not judge until that.

It should be yeah, but not all bans are completely in the right. I got banned over a year ago for what I can only assume was me running CE on a clicker game while playing either CSGO or TF2 ; caught a ban like a week later. Not going to make a new account over it, but I do think they should re-evaluate bans after a longer period.

And nah, I'm not complaining, I still agree that it should show up on accounts so you know. Buddy of mine was about to gift me a game back like 9 months ago, almost did it till I reminded him about the vac ban.. Definitely would help people avoid that disaster.

Try again.

Cheat Engine only causes a VAC ban when it is used to cheat on a VAC enabled game, in a VAC secured server.

Leaving it open causes a VAC error.
