I'm not allowed to have my own cell phone so my dad forced me to use his phone number. My dad has a steam too and uses the same number. today my brother used my dads account and cheated and now my main account is VAC banned. It's true and here is proof, my father will now write too:

Hello I'm the father and what my son says is true, he did not cheat, it was his brother on my account. Please unban him valve

I'm fully aware of what you wrote. Your 'brother' used your dad's account to cheat, which was most likely due to him sharing the account details or leaving the account unattended, therefore I said that account sharing is not allowed. The new update states that all accounts that share the same phone number at the time of the infraction will be banned, and that's what happened here. The ban is permanent.

"sincerely the father?" You don't honestly expect anyone to believe an adult would actually write that do you?

If you want to appeal a VAC ban then click on the big words that say "SUPPORT" at the top of this page.

However, your story as tragically comical as it is will not be accepted as "proof." In fact, even if what you said was true it would still be a valid ban.

No one here can unban you. The forum mods cannot unban you. And Steam Support is not going to unban you with that "proof."

You're only doing a disservice to yourself by lying about it. Furthermore, since this isn't your first VAC ban either, then you should know how it works by now.

There is no need for you to go around various VAC discussion threads and tell people that repeatedly, we get it, you don't like this security measure.

I've never been banned, and I would never cheat, but this shows me that Valve just can't be trusted with personal information.

That's exactly the reason why I would never give them my phone number, or my real home adress when I buy games on my main account.
