VAC banned for offline use of Cheat Engine
Okay so here's my story.
Basically I recently purchased Black Ops 2 and all of the DLC because I really love the zombies.
Although I'm sure all of you know the easter eggs are incredibly hard to complete.
So I decided to play an offline game and complete these easter eggs (specifically on origins) so I could find all of the locations I previously couldn't get to because of lack of skill.
I had no Idea that I could be banned from black ops offline for this action and I'm currently really quite upset as I recently bought the game and dlcs (which I have been saving up for a while)
So now I am in a predicament where I cannot play Black Ops 2 Zombies whatsoever, either offline or online which completely renders my game useless.

Do I have a case here at all for hopefully allowing me to play my Zombies again?

Zombie and MP modes are always online. Period.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II and III have Treyarch's own anti-cheat system covering the entire game and if you cheat even when the game is offline, you'll get both a VAC and TAC ban once you start to play online.

Only Call of Duty: World at War installed from DVD-ROMs are no longer TAC-protected and Black Ops' multiplayer have both VAC and TAC.

There's one thing I'll never understand: Why do people not understand that CHEAT Engine is a cheat?

Thanks for your replies, is there any possibility I will be able to play offline at all??? or is this just a waste $150 for 2 hours playtime kinda deal for me :/ :(

Never ever pay 150$ for a game again.
Anyway, no. You can't play.

I'm 100% sure I understand that cheat engine is a cheat. But from my inderstanding, VAC is designed to disalow for unfair gameplay in online scenarios. I didn't realise that cheating on solo would somehow block me from the use from my entire game.

See, that's the thing! People blindly use CHEAT Engine and trainers in full TAC-protected games like Black Ops II and III because they want to complete the single player campaign faster not knowing that it can be online with a co-op mode and can get banned.

I also once used a trainer in Black Ops III just for that purpose and after the double TAC ban on my two main accounts due to Family Sharing, now I learnt my lesson not to cheat in either of those two darned Black Ops games ever again.

Teyarch developed their own anti-cheat to maintain the entirety of Black Ops II and III with the objective of "creating a fair and fun gaming experience for others" aka playing 100% clean and you can still be banned for playing solo with cheats in either of those two games.

It's best you don't re-buy Black Ops II or buy Black Ops III if you don't wish to play 100% clean when you create a new account, I suggest you buy Modern Warfare, MW2 or Advanced Warfare instead where you can do whatever you want with the game so long you don't cheat, mod or hack in multiplayer which is VAC-protected.

Sometimes curiosity can lead to big consequences if not aware of.

That's the rules Activision set up. Their game, their rules.
