Actively cheating in multiuplayer games is not a requirement for a VAC ban.
VAC bans for dfetection of "cheats" (as defined per agreement with Valve) on a computer from which an account is logged on via Steam and connected to a secured server.
---
In the case of changing files for Crysis:
1) Using only OFFICIALLY ENDORSED AUTHENTIC files (if downloaded, ensure they are downloaded from official reputable location and verify signaturea)
2) Crysis isn't VAC secured.
totally agree with vac topic !
yes they are original files from the retail version of the game
ya its not vac secured so im not worried about vac .. im just worried about steam account suspension or any other banns ..
when people use mods for skyrim .. do they change the exe files too ?
