its because Sandboxie and Timer resolution were used for injecting cheats. And yes most of cheaters use such programs
Oh okay,
so i think it's good that i uninstalled the software for now, for my safety i guess
Thanks anyways. but i still need more answers before i consider this discussion as solved.
People will sit here and blame notepad.exe for their VAC bans. Sandboxie won't get you VAC banned. If you're using it, you may not be able to play on VAC secured servers and may be kicked, but not banned.
If you're using it to cheat, then yes, you may get banned.
You yourself said you had Sandboxie installed on your computer. I see no VAC ban so...one can logically assume that having Sandboxie installed on your computer doesn't magically get you VAC banned.
Some people claim they use Sandboxie for "security reasons." In 12+ years, I've never been "hacked" on Steam.
There are plenty of legit uses for virtualization software but what a lot of people use Sandboxie or similar programs for is to attempt to bypass the VAC system. Why in the name of good god in heaven, would you run a game on your PC through a virtualization process that sucks up more processing power? Doesn't make a lot of sense unless you're trying to do something malicious.
Okay that's good answer for me i guess.
i used it because of being paranoid when using the web browser and installing/running unknown program, not to cheat it.
okay i think this solves it, just close this discussion.
