Can I use a Bloody mouse if I don't use software?
As the title states. Someone bought me a Bloody mouse. I was kinda excited, until I looked up the mouse. Apparently the brand is notorious for having AHK like recoil control built into the mouse drivers. You have to buy it, but I'm not interested in cheating at all. If I use the mouse without installing the software, is there a chance for me to get a VAC ban? I mean, it's software based, so it shouldn't do anything, right?

Product in question

Thanks in advance

I dunno man, some of the stuff that software can do at the very least might get you game banned.

The "6 sniper modes" and what i can see of that screenshot looks iffy. Valve would not be happy with eliminating recoil - most cheats have recoil removal to go with the auto aim.
Yes, of course you could use that mouse with native windows drivers, or even use that software, but I dont think you want to risk using some of that advanced functionality.

If a demo goes to overwatch, they will see the reduced recoil, and you likely could be banned that way.

Yeah, atleast I'm not gonna use that software. I think I should rather just use the mouse with the default windows driver, since that shouldn't give me problems with overwatch. I also see 3 buttons on the top of the mouse that allows more shots to be fired in short bursts of time and some other stuff, but I'm not gonna use those as well (better to be safe than sorry).

Apparently there is a few versions of the mouse which allows you to save the recoil script directly to the mouse's onboard memory (for cheating in LAN parties), but this model can't do it and I won't install the software to do it anyway. I can't even believe companies sell mice like these.

Anyway, thanks for the help.I really appreciate it.:OkaySir:
