But what im try to say - differ games = differ rules. 3rd party games devs do anything they want to with their games anti-cheating systems same as Valve with VAC. Its not only Valve jurisdiction.
I mean this situation
https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/22C0-03D0-AE4B-04E8
happen only in Source games. When you get this insecure error for CSGO - in absolutely other game you can be banned if developer decide it is more cheating than non-cheating apps.
CSGO also have differ rules with that thing "insecure connection" that happen in Source games. For CSGO there is launch argumnet that can allow suspicious not_banable apps to use on some\private servers, while by default CSGO started with -secure argument and no any interfering apps allowed to connect to the most servers incl custom.
reshade is not bannable (unless you decide to really use fake reshade module trying to hide real cheat).
Its not 100% safe for future to use this tool. For Valve games its a little bit morr safe at this time. VAC ban in Valve games never ban you for nothing or something randomly suspicious. But if its working like cheat - it can be added to cheat Db and you never get ot know when this can happen.
There is point to contact Valve at some of their emails... But i cant see the point of this tool. Just joking on streams not a good argument to start joking inside someones else online matches, espcially with random players (but by default every CSGO players gameplay is fun, dnt ruin it, even for your frineds). So there is no point to discuss this tool with Valve VAC engineers. I guess OP never do that just for some streaming-fun-tool.
if your tool is really useful for everyone, and you want to make it 100% safe - probably there is point to cantact Valve directly (vacreview@, vac@ of info@ valvesoftware). Its not OP case, isnt it? Its not like he did another Discord app... right?
Player not allowed to modify online game, its against the rules\ToS for most games. just as it stated.
My info can be used only by someone who want find limits of where he still can use some apps and where he get ban - first game, second, third, another one and many else. One by one.
No one will do that, and so more right to call my info useless here.
OP should be ok with info that there is insecure connection error in CSGO and im wrong to start warning him about absolutely other games (and bring confuse here).
