Is it safe to use Intelligent standby list cleaner with VAC?
Is it save to use Intelligent standby list cleaner by Wagnardsoft with VAC games? (from Display Driver Uninstaller makers).
The application will monitor and clear the memory standby list according to the configured options parameter you set.

I find this application is very helpful against stutters in games under latest versions of Windows 10/11. Anyone have experience with it in VAC supported online games?

Bump. I hope Valve staff will reply.

Considering that this is a user forum, this will not happen.
Valve will also not give any guarantees which program does not cause a VAC ban. All third party tools that can interfere with a game are used on a "on your own risk" basis.

But they should have false-positive software database or something. And as far as I know this software working with RAM cached memory first of all, like RAMMap. I'm just trying to find a solution since Microsoft don't care for almost 5 years about Windows memory manager bug which is prevent cached RAM to be cleared by Windows own algorythm.

Valve won't say if it triggers VAC to prevent cheat makes from knowing anything.
As long as it doesnt actually mess with any game files it should be safe, but that being said using software like this is always at your own risk.

If the software isn't a cheat but it impacts VAC, you will get a message in-game stating that something is blocking the VAC system. This is not a ban but you wont be able to use any VAC servers until the program is disabled.

Yeah. I understand this. I wouldn't even bother at all if results wasn't so game changing. I looked for solution for few years since Windows update. Today I found this method and tested it in The Witcher 3, for example. With filled cached memory game stutters like crazy in Novigrad but after clearing cache game runs perfectly smooth with almost perfect frametime. So, I will use this software for single player games anyway. My concerns is, what if I forget to disable the software before join multiplayer games.

Who knows. Plus software might flush cached memory during online session, if memory will be filled in this moment. Don't want to figure out, to be honest.

I wouldn't suggest to tamper with the memmory while any Anticheat protected game is running on background, even if it's not aiming at the game proccess itself.

It's OK to use that. it not mess with csgo memory.
