If only modify singleplayer part of COD will i get VAC ban?

Bought COD BO2 recently and game doesn't support my mother language Chinese.There is a patch developed by other players to replace all the English text into Chinese but i'm afraid if i use this patch i will get banned.I only download the singleplayer part app and modified the singleplayer part file.

Not sure how VAC works so come to here to ask.

vac bans are issued for cheats being detected. anything that tampers with protected game files is a cheat, does not matter if it gives an advantage or not

some games do not allow any changes to the game. any modding you want to do is DO AT OWN RISK.

....and Activision games are in this catagory of games. You CANNOT modify them AT ALL without it resulting in a ban.

I know this.I just wonder if VAC will scan the single player part of the game too.
Call of Duty Black Ops 2 has three Apps in Steam library,ya know,single player,mulitiplayer and zombie.I just download the single player App and modify it will also has a possibility to get banned too?

??? It's wrong. I don't know about Zombie mods, But VAC is for Multiplay Cheating

The game devs can use VAC for singleplayer they want. Activision especially did.

Maybe read threads about Activison VAC singleplayer instead bumping an old thread.
