Any risk of triggering VAC by using Resource Hacker to replace the Windows startup sound?

I'm looking at Resource Hacker at some point to replace the Windows startup sound when Windows 11 comes out because I don't like the new sound's. While I can replace all of the other sound's through the sound's menu in control panel; the startup sound is embedded in "imageres.dll" in the system 32 folder so when Windows 11 comes out i'm planning to use Resource Hacker to extract the old sound from "imageres.dll" then update to Windows 11 and replace the sound if not too much changed from 10 to 11 and then uninstall Resource Hacker if it work's. Do I have to worry about any residual file's triggering VAC if I play a game after uninstallation of Resource Hacker?

Does it attach to any games or alter their functionality? Unless you hook into a VAC protected game or have it running while starting a VAC protected game, it should cause no harm.

If in doubt, restart your system after you are done with this tool.

I'll probably wait till Windows 11 comes out, do I have to do, uninstall resource hacker, restart, open and play a VAC game maybe TF2, wait a month or so afterwards and then I'll let you know if everything worked out with my Windows sound replacement and my Steam account afterward's.
Microsoft isn't making this easy like I have to do all that to replace the startup sound, then use a registry hack to get the old live tile start menu back if that DWORD is still there in the full release, and then copy the old sound's from my flash drive (today I copied the sounds from the Windows media folder to my flash drive so they won't get wiped when I update Windows to 11) then one by one replace them. Then (which is the easiest thing to do) go to settings and toggle the taskbar alignment to the left.

No it shouldn't as Windows will have started long before you load Steam. You can actually change it without using an application. Steps can be found here.

You can replace sounds in Steam without any ressource hacking. Just use the audio control applet.

I already came across something like that and that's just allowing the sound that plays when you log in to your account to be changed from the list which is different from what I'm going with and apparently when I was looking to give a link to what I meant it appears that in version 1903 onwards it changed to "imageres.dll.mun" in C:\Windows\SystemResources
