That ban seems pretty old tbh, over 200 days (let that remind you that it doesn't go away)
If I'm not mistaken you can get banned in multiple ways depending on what you did, basically I think trade ban is relevant to other problems like fraud for a serious ban on that stuff. You can also get trade and market cool down if your account gets compromised I think, but that's kinda irrelevant to vac bans.
Vac ban is mainly relevant to cheating in a game on a VAC sever. Some games have VAC servers and non-Vac servers as options. Some even have switches to turn it on and off but I mainly just seen that once in a game.
Just because you may come across players obviously cheating who do not yet have a Vac, doesn't mean that vac hasn't already flagged their account.
They will get a GAME ban due to the overwatch, and more than likely later on a Vac will supersede it on the profile, but both will still exist on the account.
