VAC Banned in private server?

About two weeks ago, I was looking at YouTube for videos about CS:GO Skins and floats, usually the results show me videos about skins that are being displayed in green screen, the way that these are displayed are via community servers, which I wasn't aware of.

I downloaded a skin changer and went on a private addon server with a green screen in order to make a video showcasing all the current CS:GO knives and the best skins for them.

I wouldn't consider making a showcase related content, and using the third party application in a non-malicious intent should be attested as genuinely cheating and justifying a VAC ban?

I know for a fact I never injected any cheats in a public matchmaking server or anything related to it, the sole purpose of me using a skin changer was merely for a video, and there wasn't any other player available at that moment.

Was my VAC ban deserved? Or would there be a possibility of getting my ban lifted? What do you think?

All servers are VAC enabled by default. This includes your own private servers. It doesn't matter if we think you deserved it or not. What matters is that is how the system works.

Being a server admin does not entitle you to use cheats that are client sided. A skin changer is no exception because you’re making the game give you a skin you don’t own.

Well you said you have money as water, so the skins would be like pocketmoney for.
But i think youre not telling the truth.

Anyway the ban is 100% permanent, if you dont know what the word ''Permanent'' means, you should google it.
