Anyone used NetLimiter? I'm worried about it.

Hello,
Today I forgot to close NetLimiter when I started CS:GO and played a couple matches (1-2).
Did someone else use Netlimiter? I'm worried it might get me banned as I read a couple posts claiming they got banned from this but some other people said it's fine because they used it everytime they played CS:GO.
Tehnically I should be fine because the program doesn't hook to in-game memory and also I haven't rate limited the game in anyway, it was just staying open.

does it tamper with protected game files? if it does not, then there is nothing to worry about. vac only bans for programs that tamper with protected game files, nothing else

It does not cause VAC bans.

As far as I know it doens't as it just limits the X program to X Mbits per second and it monitors the bandwidth usage for every program, but read a couple posts (searched NetLimiter VAC on Google and a few results popped in which some people claimed they got VAC Banned using this software but also found this post https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/9/882959061621624574/ and NetLimiter is in that list even though the post is quite old.)

Using these programs has not been known to cause bans.

Yea, I've seen that but that post is quite old (2012) while the "VAC Ban issues" were from like 2016-2017.

But I just hope it does not cause VAC Bans.
