Why would they allow you to download a game that would also then get you banned? Or am I just not understanding this correctly?

It's a free game so why not install it on a different account and play it and see what happens. Or, why not ask the developers?

It said something about a modified opengl32.dll and i clicked accept about a year ago and im trying to make sure that if I play gld source games I wont get banned

1: Do other players of this game all have VAC bans?
2: Why would they allow you to play a game that could get you VAC banned?
3: What have the developers said when you asked (if you haven't, do it)?
