[SOLVED] Using DualMonitor Tool will result in VAC Ban?
EDIT: I solved my problem so i don't need no more to know the answer as i won't use any third part software tools, to see the solution i found just read my last comment.

The first lines could be seen as offtopic but are to better understand the whole issue i have. Sorry if the post can result long or boring for anyone.

I recently bought a new monitor (27" 144Hz, that i'll call gaming monitor) better than the older one (24" 60Hz, that i'll call main monitor), as i wanted to use the gaming monitor only to play games, watch videos and stuff like that, and the main monitor to watch over twitch chat or discord server, easly search on internet for guides or walkthrough and many other things without alt-tabbing every time the game (also cause usually in-game there's not so much time to alt-tab out, search and alt-tab in again).

The problem is: while i'm playing, for example bo3, if i turn left and shoot too fast, the cursor will go out of the gaming monitor into the main one, and left-clicking (for shooting) in this will cause the game to freeze and me to get caught and killed.

I searched inside windows settings and bo3 settings for something that could potentially fix this but i found nothing, so i google this issue and the only results that i can find is using tools to lock the cursor in the selected monitor, such as "dual monitor tool" or "cursor lock".

My question is: will i get a VAC Ban for using one of these tools or some kind of? Because i never cheated and i won't do it in my entire life, and i also spent a lot of money on games for this account and i absolutely don't want a VAC Ban on it that will completely ruin it.

Thanks everyone in advance for your time spent reading all this, and for avyone that can answer me :)

Using tools that may interfere with the game (especially CoD games) will get your account banned.

As long as the tool is from a safe website and does not contain malicious code, you will be safe.

But as always, download files at your own risk.

the point is that these kind of tools doesn't interfere with the game itself as far as i know, they just lock cursor in a specific window or monitor, also without messing up with any game files.
And yes, if i was about to download one of them, i will ensure to do it from the official website

I have this issue but on thinking its only with Valve games atm, youre losing Focus as its called.
Only way around it for me is mouse sensitivty and being gentle.
Most other games though dont lose Focus as much or ever.
I certainly would never dream of searching out the issue exept Steam Community help. You did both, not that thats bad though :)

i read on a reddit post that this issue is due to a higher mouse sensitivity than the cursor re-centering refresh of the game, and the only fix that could be done (if i didn't want to use such tools) was to decrease mouse sensitivity outside the game and increase it inside the game. But this means that i'll end up having the usual game visual experience and a worst out-game cursor experience... how can i manage this to have both of the normally?

ok solved, i managed it decreasing mouse accelleration from windows and from razer synapse (because i have a naga hex v2 mouse) and increasing the sensitivity in-game, so i don't need any third part software tool.
Thanks to all for answering and helping me :steamhappy:
