(Previously: If he cheats via Remote Play Together it will ban both accounts.)
Where exactly is this stated however? I never seen a case of this (vac ban via remote play together) being documented. The VAC reasons ive only seen are
1. cheats on your own PC
2. sharing phone number
3. VAC via family sharing person cheating.
Can you show me a documented case of remote play together vac ban?
Ooops I just realized, I took Remote Play Together as Family Sharing. Sorry for that. As for Remote Play Together, as of now no-one has complained about being banned by it. So it's very unlikely that you would get banned by it. Though since this can be used, to cheat another account while using your primary account, it would make sense to ban both. Though since a friend could be playing while you are watching or also playing, this wouldn't make sense to ban both. If it would ban both, people could abuse it, to ban the other people. So no, it won't ban you. It's more like a streaming service rather than running the game on your PC, so there's nothing interfering with your PC.
You can. Even works on mobile.
It shouldn't be a problem. Since the game's code is not being altered on your PC. Thus even if you start your game by accident, your not connecting/connected to a VAC secured server.
If you have Discord or Skype, Remote Play together is like sharing your Screen.
Though if you still feel unsecured, you can use other Software. I would recommend Parsec, in my opinion even better than Remote Play together.
The game does not run an instance of the game itself to the Person watching/coop playing.
