I GOT VAC BANNED FOR HACKING IN OTHER GAME!!!

Hello Valve. I know it has been a long time but would like to know why I got VAC banned. I did not cheat on CSGO, the game I did cheat was payday 2, I left the cheat engine running and forgot about it. I went the bed the next morning to play a game of csgo and then went to lunch and when I got home, I opened up the game and saw I was VAC banned. I would like to see why i was banned. What I mean by that was, what did the Valve detect. I opened csgo today and saw it was an overwatch ban, which makes me even more confused. I have forsure learned my lession and have created a 2nd account in which i buy knifes on csgo and have learned to never to use any cheat engines b/c i know csgo could acciently decect the wrong thing. If there is anyway you could help me, that would be great.

Ps: I know its a long time but please;)

PSS: I was using pirate perfection for payday 2 (DONT EVER USE IT AGAIN)

VAC detects any and all cheats and hack programs. You left it from from Payday 2 and hence your banned. Pernament and correct.Overwatch is a different anti-cheat program for griefers, etc. Getting caught by both VAC and Overwatch is absolute guarentee of being a cheater.

The Cheat Engine excuse is very old. Cheat Engine by itself does NOT cause a VAC ban. You have to use it with the game.

Valve is not here, either. This is a user forum. No one here can help you.

BRO I DOWNLOADED THE FILE AND THEN ADDED IT TO PAYDAY 2 FILIES AND THE CHEATS WERE LEFT ON. WHAT DO U MEAN CHEAT ENGINES DONT EXIST

One of the following, most likely - this is a list by The Giving One (another forum regular):

• Detecting identifiable cheats in use on the computer or device while connected to a VAC-secured server.
  
• Family-sharing a VAC-protected game and cheating from either account.
  
• Phone number-sharing with other account(s) at the time of a cheating infraction.
  
• Account-sharing, buying, or transferring, if the account was used to cheat.

It could have been from "Detecting identifiable cheats in use on the computer or device while connected to a VAC-secured server." I am just angry b/c i did not really hack in csgo, i know that sounds like the biggest BS in the whole world. I downloaded pirate perfection of some site, open payday 2 files, change the files, and boom, i had everything. I know cheating was bad but like everyone cheats in payday 2(doesnt make it right). I have learned my lession for sure but I was wondering if they could check their servers to see if I was right and could be un VAC.

NO. Only false-positives (which are rare/unlikely) are automatically removed. The VAC ban on your account is 348 days old. It is permanent.

If you haven't done so yet, you can make a new account and purchase the game(s) you want again, or you can play on insecure servers.
