VAC Ban from 2015 from my kid...
Hello, I would like to appeal to a VAC ban that is not allowing me the Dad to play the games I purchased on servers running the VAC software. Can this be researched and amended? The ban came from C-Strike Global?? (Not even installed on my computer)

I removed all family link accounts from my library. I do not want to have to restart over with as many games as I had purchased in the past. Please let me know what can be done to help this matter.

1 VAC ban on record | Info
1228 day(s) since last ban

Still permanent, forever.

Can I appeal my VAC ban?
No. VAC bans cannot be appealed. If a VAC ban is issued incorrectly it will be automatically removed after investigation, but Steam Support does not manually remove VAC bans applied to accounts for any reason.

Not incorrect after 1228 days.

Only CS:GO is affected.

all VAC bans come from the detection of a known cheat, whether it is used on the account itself or some sort of sharing has occurred (account, library or phone number).

Users are responsible for the security of the account and all activity on the account.

So what is the suggestion as to how I can play vanilla servers in DayZ with a new ID without purchasing all my content again?? I get the ban reasoning if my child (Minor) did something stupid. However, that should not have take away from the game content that I purchased and cannot use. If I cant play the games in any capacity, refund all content purchased Valve.

Read EVERYTHING again, the ban ONLY affects CS:GO

Not correct. Any VAC ban on record affects the servers running VAC on them. In this case the DayZ server for Outbreak Revolution Deer Isle PVE. It wont let me play and battleye kicks me because of the VAC ban.

:steamfacepalm:

What games can I play if I have been VAC banned?
VAC banned accounts can still play single-player games, local LAN games, and multiplayer on non VAC-secured game servers. To find non VAC-secured servers, from the Steam main menu click on View, select Servers, then select Not secure in the Anti-cheat dropdown.

Cheating in one of the following Source games or a Source mod will result in a VAC ban for all games in the list below:

Counter-Strike: Source
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
Day of Defeat: Source
Team Fortress 2
Similarly, cheating in one of the following Gold Source games will result in a VAC ban for all games in the list below:

Counter-Strike
Condition Zero
Ricochet
Day of Defeat
Team Fortress Classic
Half-Life: Deathmatch
Deathmatch Classic

Server admins can exclude anyone that they want, from playing on their servers. Including users with VAC bans.

Ultimately your fault.

Some servers check accounts for vac bans and ban you if you have one, it's just a thing a server owner added to their own server, but you can play on mostly every other one.

Thank you ZoVx... that makes more sense.

Lesson learned... dont ever let your child use your computer and games on them... I have been playing online games since 1992 and cant imagine why people would ever cheat... The boy is 19 now and he is not using any of my content... Yeah my fault...

Then please explain why the admin kick is taking place on a Deer Isle DayZ server and showing it as a VAC...

Even at fourteen, he should know that cheating is wrong. So, yes. Your fault.
